Built in the popular International Style. While the architectural team has updated the story of the building, they have done so without compromising the distinct features that define its era's roots. The architects have preserved the geometry of the original design while creating a cool new "urban village" style of architecture that fits perfectly into the overall master plan for this one-of-a-kind community at the heart of Shops at Don Mills. The building has been transformed into a dynamic and contemporary loft residence by infilling the iconic precast piers with expansive windows and subtle highlights of colour. One of the most interesting features of the retrofit is the creation of a double-height lobby that virtually plumes skyward supported by finger-like concrete columns that band the buildings' exterior.
